About us
The institute was founded in 1955, under the name of "Chimigaz", with a small personnel, under 50 peoples, with headquarters in Medias and having an experimental pilot plant located on the former "Carbosin" platform located in "Copsa Mica".
Finished projects
In the track records of research activities we can enumerate 600 patents innovated by us, 200 technology, medals and diplomas obtained at international exhibition from Geneva, London , Romanian Academy awards.
Ongoing projects
ICPAO Medias conducts applied research in various fields of science: valorization of the bioresources and industrial waste, biodegradable polymers and acrylic emulsions, solutions for hemodialysis and pharmaceutical salt.
